i do not have decorating skills. i do not know the rules of decorating. i somewhat know what i like. and this room was not it.
the colors came out ALL wrong. they looked so sweet and calming in the condo nursery, here they look - bleh! and they certainly do not match my little man's personality.
so, i began my search for inspiration. i wanted something darker (to keep his room cooler - temperature wise) and something van could grow into.
there are still several things that need to change - a new rug (the one in there now is way too small), toddler bed & madras bedding but here is the semi-finished project. thank you mom so so so much for helping me paint over those ghastly colors!!
