While Derek and I were in Denver, Robin asked us if we would like to come in to the hospital and get my belly scanned. Robin is an OBGYN and was working at the hospital on call. So, we went to visit her and she took all of the above photos for us! You can see Peanut's arms & legs are crossed in most of the photos! The baby was really moving around a lot and it was so neat to see! Stay tuned for our next appointment on July 8th!

Derek and I leave Wednesday morning for Bald Head Island for the 4th of July. Already Peanut has done so much traveling!!

Baby's 1st trip to Denver, CO

Derek, Baby & I just returned from our trip to Denver, Co where Derek & his best friend Blair did a Sprint Triathlon in Boulder, CO on Father's Day. The tri went really well for both Derek & Blair. We spent the rest of the week enjoying the beautiful weather in Denver, exploring the zoo, stopping by Red Rocks and visiting the mountains in Dylan. 

My baby bump is definitely showing more now and looks more like a baby bump vs. an indulgent lunch! I finally got my fix for TCBY's white chocolate mousse frozen yogurt with bananas. I have been craving TCBY since week 6 and so far the only one I have been able to find is located in the Denver airport. It was worth the wait and I was definitely trying to scheme a way to get some back home!

Week 13 and I had my first visit with my midwife today. Aunt Candace got to go along and hear Peanut's heartbeat for the first time! All is wonderful! I got my test results back from the last blood work lab, everything was negative, I'm immune to everything I should be immune to and I have dad's blood type. I've only gained 1 pound!!! Baby's heartbeat was 166 today, I tried to attach the recording but it was a no go! Derek says it still sounds like a horse galloping.

Our next visit is July 8th and if Peanut cooperates then we will be able to determine if lil'P is a boy or a girl!
