We're all about fun and the sun!

"we're all about the fun here" - said papa to van

it was a phrase i heard a lot last week on kiawah island with my whole family. and have fun is exactly what we did! from laying around the pool, playing on the beach, going for bike rides, eating wonderful meals to watching cartoons. 

it was the best. nothing but relaxing. and the boys were so worn out from all their play that van took a 3 hour nap everyday!!!!

We look forward to our Luke family vacation every year and I am sad that it has come and gone so quickly. I miss waking up each morning, having coffee with my parents and one of Derek's awesome breakfast sandwiches then trying to decide whether we were going to lounge by the pool or go to the beach before naps. It was a wonderful week and we all felt so refreshed on our way home to Charlotte.
