Hope everyone had a SPOOK-tacular Halloween! Derek and I went to a friend's party on Friday night and dressed as a couple from the roaring 20's.
Then, we took Van trick-or-treating with all of our fun neighbors on Monday evening. It was a surprise to see so many families and small children out roaming the neighborhood. A huge change even from last year!
Van had a great time running from door to door with all the older kids and he was totally amazed by the fact that he received candy for knocking on peoples' doors and saying "trickertweet"! And being the sweet boy he is, he immediately said "tank eww. tank eww!" after taking his treats.
He of course wanted to rip open each piece of candy as he was running to the next house. Sugar high anyone? Mommy even sneaked some chocolate!!! ; )
