Happy Easter to All

What an AMAZING day! For on this day God said to us that the Crucifixion did not have the last word. He is Risen!

Van's first Easter has been such a blessed day. We went to church with Aunt Candace and Uncle Clay then we met Uncle Jereme and soon-to-be Aunt Selwa at C&C's (Candace & Clay's) house for a delicious brunch. Nana and The Colonel missed Easter brunch because they are on a two week cruise. We love you guys and can't wait for you to get home!

As usual our family get together was full of laughter. Van was showered with much affection and attention. Uncle Clay and Aunt Candace even brought out baby Cole's pack n' play and swing for Van to enjoy. This child is not lacking in people who love him with all their hearts.

After an afternoon of catching up with Aunts and Uncles we headed over to the Utsey's for Easter dinner. Mimi, Papa Utz and Uncle Josh can't get enough of Van. The phrase, "I'll hold him" was heard many, many times today. What a day full of love! It really makes us feel so blessed to have such wonderful family.

Van was fighting sleep so Papa Utz rocked the precious babe until he could no longer hold his eyes open.

We hope that you all have had a day full of Easter blessings. Today we were reminded of the long list of things we have to be thankful for: unconditional love and eternal life through Jesus Christ, amazing family, laughter, precious baby smiles and giggles and new life. My soul feels refreshed. God Bless.

On the note of new life, look at my little sister's adorable baby bump. She is one of the most beautiful pregnant women I've ever seen!
