Utsey Family BHI Getaway

Bald Head Island is one of our favorite places to spend time together as a family. We got away for almost a week at the end of September which was perfect because it was still warm and we had the beach to ourselves!

We stopped in Wilmington on our way and had lunch with our faves - The Kinlaws. 

the love these two share is so much bigger than i could have ever hoped for. we are truly blessed. let's just hope they always share this bond.

After lunch we picked up Mimi, Papa, Josh and Bear at the airport in Southport.

The beach is so wonderful this time of year.  Papa brought Van's pirate ship kite and we all went out on the beach to watch it's first flight.

This trip felt a little rushed since we all had weddings to get back to the following weekend but it was still a fun, relaxing trip. One we all looked forward and can't wait to take again. We love spending beach time with our loved ones. 

With great company comes great food.

This little one was into everything. Between hiding breakables and blocking the stairs with dining room chairs, she definitely kept us all on our toes!

Can't wait to see what next year holds for us. Thank you mom and dad for a fabulous week. We love you both so very much and we're so thankful for time away with you.
