“Don't underestimate the value of Doing Nothing, of just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering.”
― A.A. Milne
We are so blessed with a loving family on both sides and friends who are so close they are family. We just returned from a week at the beach with the Utsey's - mom, dad, Josh & Dalcher. It was a wonderfully relaxing time where we all enjoyed doing nothing but enjoying each other's company. Derek and I were grateful for the extra hands who lovingly took care of Van and Rory giving us a little extra sleep. We lounged by our pool, walked on the beach, chatted over cocktails, did a little outlet shopping (thank you for the new wardrobes Mom!) and ate fabulous meals. It was hard to say goodbye and go back to reality but it was a wonderful way to end the summer.
Thank you Dalcher for giving us this week together with you and the family. Thank you Mom and Dad for all that you did for us this week and always. Words cannot describe the love in our hearts for you.
On our way to the beach, we stopped in Wilmington for the night to visit our great friends Haley & Grey. Rory also got the chance to meet her Great-Grammy!

| Rory's first car trip - she slept almost the whole way. |
 |
| Van stayed awake and kept us entertained with his stories then passed out as we pulled into H&G's driveway. Sweet boy. |
 |
| Rory's carseat fit right in at The Kinlaw house. Drake and Finley should be arriving soon! |
