Van's First Fourth of July Take Two

So, here are the pictures taken with Jody and Mike's camera! They so graciously lent us theirs when our camera was stuck in lost and found over the weekend of the Fourth. Thank you guys so much! Without you, we would have missed capturing Van's cute little face and all his adventures!

Van loves his baby bjorn. He flails his arms and legs in excitement as soon as we start putting it on.

Watching his first golf cart parade.

Van and Hales hanging out on the sidelines.

Mommy and her little Pirate. Arrrrrrr!

Our Fourth of July family photo.

Van's "Poop Deck" Hahahahahaha!

Van showing Mike all his toys.

Van holds a special place in his heart for his Uncle Grey. He loves to climb all over him and chew on his hat and sunglasses!

mmmm these taste delish

Here Uncle Grey - you try.

Ok Roxie your turn.

I wish I got this on video..........Nana and Colonel gave Van this adorable frog float so we brought it to the beach. Van absolutely loved it! His feet could touch in the surf so he was able to walk around in the sand! It was so funny to see him swimming in the ocean all by himself. And then when we put him in the pool he was still kicking his legs and was able to push himself around the pool! Kid's a natural swimmer!!! He was so proud of himself too!

Mommy look at me!

Daddy had to stop me from walking too far out to sea!

Bye guys!

If you look closely you can see the water rippling behind Van.........so funny....he has no fear!

Another thing we learned about Van on this trip - his LOVE for golf carts! On Bald Head Island, cars are not allowed so everyone drives golf carts - even Van!

Here is one of the only times we saw Van awake on the golf cart. He seemed to pass out on every ride! We need one of these for Uptown!

And after a fabulous week in the sun with our friends - it was time for a Father/Son nap:
