we took our 4th annual march madness trip to bald head island this last weekend with our faves - the kinlaws. this year our trip was quite different since we were bringing along 3 new babies!
our trip was too short but it was full of relaxing. friday was our travel day but grey made a delicious shrimp creole for dinner while we watched the sunset from our back porch.

saturday haley and i were pampered at the island spa while our sweet husbands took the kids on many a golf cart ride! van said the beach was too windy but he didn't want to stop riding the golf cart! after our mini spa day we took the babies on a walk to meet the guys and van for lunch.

i was in awe of haley and grey. they are handling twins like two old pros. they even had a bedtime (which was a lot earlier than rory's!) the boys are so cute and it is so much fun to see grey and haley as parents. drake and finley will definitely be known around the island!
we had to have an impromptu photo shoot on sunday before we left. it was st patty's day and though i did not plan on it, rory was adorable in her new mint outfit from her auntie rian(a gift for her baptism).

as usual, we had the greatest time and it's exciting because this trip is the start of our summer beach trips. we are really looking forward to the warmer weather, a chance to get outside for some much needed vitamin D and several more beach trips with our families and closest friends.

on the way home we stopped for a visit with great grammy. it is so sweet to hear van talk about her and how he wants to see her "now!"
